1st attempt - I went way overboard with the details, and the style no longer matches the style of a 2-D animated series, as I was aiming to. Critiques included: less detail/rendering and simplify shapes.

2nd attempt: The rendering and level of detail now matched the style of a 2-D animated series, but the shape language was still too realistic. Critiques: Push the shapes/proportions of the object to be less detailed/more dramatic and more suited to the style of the show.

Carved from the femur of a rabbit by her father’s skilled hands, this instrument holds a special place in Zephyr’s heart. For Zephyr, playing the flute is not just a pastime—it’s a connection to her roots, and a reminder of her father’s love.
